checkered past
I have a checkered past and it is scary. It’s called VANS (“Man, I need Vans” was the ‘70s jingle)! While this classic SoCal board shoe has made its comeback, it’s still skating back into fashion. Whether with ripped, baggy jeans or skinny, zip-ankle pants, little shorts or long skirts, these slip-on/no-slip sneakers go with anything and everything. And I actually wear them with everything (like I did in grade school). Get a pair. Now. So not scary.
