On a recent getaway in Marin County’s Point Reyes (Point of the Kings), I couldn’t have asked for a better 24 hours: Olema House (creekside) boutique hotel, Tomales Point Trail (9.4 mile out-and-back hike lined with elk, wildflowers & coastal views) and dinner at a cozy circa 1865 tavern, Due West - it was the best!
