surf or swim

While recently meandering through downtown Lafayette’s weekend art festival, I felt a wave of delight as I soaked up the sign: surf or swim. It was a 40 x 60 acrylic special-order photograph of Santa Monica (my old neighborhood!) by the talented LA-based photographer Lindsey Foard. I decided this was in fact a true sign - and now it is mine.
