While the first pair were made for Newport Beach lifeguards 60 years ago, today Birdwell Beach Britches has it all, including the best women’s sports shorts. My friend Paula wears hers paddleboarding, but they’re flexible for any movement - biking, running or just having fun in the sun. I’m on board with that. Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
